Crestor works by reducing a certain enzyme within the body that produces cholesterol. It belongs to a class of medications called statins.

Cholesterol is a form of lipid, a waxy substance that helps your body make cells, vitamins, and certain hormones. It is not inherently bad or harmful. You may have been having a headache and weight gain ever since you were a few years old. You had trouble eating and swallowing, and you now generally have a healthy weight of around 150 pounds. You had high blood pressure in the lungs, and you now have high blood cholesterol levels in the blood. You also have high blood sugar levels, and you are diabetic. Cholesterol also gets converted to a liquid form, which is then taken off of chartered pharmacists and healthcare providers by you and your doctor.

Cholesterol is also used by people with porphyria to prevent and treat a wide range of bacterial infections. Your doctor may use you to buy porphyria tablets to prevent blood disorders from going into play. porphyria pills are also used by some to prevent heart attacks and strokes, as well as kidney disease and diabetes. Cholesterol also gets converted to a liquid form, which is then taken off of the medical field.

You may notice swelling or muscle pain, fever, diarrhea, fatigue, headache, and changes in your heartbeat and blood pressure. These are body reactions. Your doctor may help identify the source of these symptoms and provide you with a treatment. Symptoms usually get better with time. However, it is important to note that this drug may not be right for you if you are also taking other drugs that reduce your cholesterol or blood pressure. It is also important to remember that you may not be able to take a statin even if you are feeling better. Your doctor may prescribe a different drug to you, one that reduces your cholesterol and blood pressure, or you may find that Crestor can be an option for you.

You may notice a change in the way you feel. Your mood may also change. You may also experience the following symptoms:

  • Trouble sleeping
  • Dizziness
  • Nausea
  • Feelings of anxiety or fear
  • Lightheadedness
  • Yellow skin or eyes

You may also have a change in the amount of urine or blood glucose. This could be signs of a too much stomach acid. You may need to take Crestor tablets to lower your blood pressure. You may also need to lower your blood cholesterol level to about half that level set when you were a few years old.

It is also possible that you have a stomach ulcer or another heart condition that may be affecting your health. You may need to take Crestor tablets to prevent a heart attack or stroke. You may need to take Crestor tablets to lower your cholesterol level.

If you are worried about cholesterol levels falling or other cholesterol-related events, your doctor may make a dietary or exercise change. Some people may also be helped by taking a statin as well. Your doctor may ask you questions about any underlying health conditions you have, such as porphyria, what medications are effective, how often are there medications that work, and more.

If you are worried about your cholesterol levels dropping or other cholesterol-related events, your doctor may advise you to take a statin as well.

Rosuvastatin 20mg reduced the risk by 41% and 52% for women taking Placebo and by 15% and 23%, respectively. The difference was p-value of 5%.

1. Introduction

Crestor, also known as rosuvastatin, is a statin drug used to lower cholesterol and prevent cardiovascular diseases, primarily by lowering triglycerides in the blood. It belongs to a class of drugs called statins. It has a unique mechanism of action that helps to lower LDL (“bad” cholesterol) and triglycerides, while enhancing HDL (“good” cholesterol) levels, making it a valuable treatment for patients with dyslipidemia, especially in individuals at high risk of cardiovascular events. However, research on its efficacy and safety in the clinical setting is still limited. In this study, the primary objective of this study was to investigate the safety and efficacy of Crestor in patients with elevated LDL cholesterol levels. Secondary objectives were to investigate the effect of Crestor on the rate of LDL reduction, the percentage of patients with an LDL-C/HDL-C ratio less than 40%, and the effect of Crestor on lipid profile parameters in patients with normal and hypertriglyceridemia.

In this study, we focused on the safety and efficacy of Crestor in the patients with elevated LDL cholesterol levels.

2. Materials and Methods

2.1. Patients and Patients Design and Participants

In this prospective, open-label, non-inferiority, phase 2b, single-blind, randomised, placebo-controlled trial, we recruited 462 patients with dyslipidemia, primarily diagnosed by the presence of elevated LDL cholesterol levels (≥ 130 mg/dL or ≥ 240 mg/dL) in the first 6 months of the study (median 6.5 years, range 3–13 years). Patients with dyslipidemia were randomly assigned to receive Crestor (Crestor 1,0,0,0,0,0) or a placebo tablet (Crestor 0,0,0,0). Patients with normal or high LDL cholesterol levels were randomly assigned to receive Crestor (Crestor 1,1,1,1) or a placebo tablet (Crestor 1,1,1,0) for 5 days. The primary endpoints were the percentage of patients with an LDL-C/HDL-C ratio less than 40%, and the percentage of patients with an LDL-C/HDL-C ratio less than 40%, respectively. Secondary outcomes included the primary endpoints of the lipid profile changes and the percentage of patients with an LDL-C/HDL-C ratio less than 40%, and the effect of Crestor on lipid profile parameters in patients with normal and hypertriglyceridemia. The efficacy of Crestor was assessed based on the changes in LDL cholesterol levels and the percentage of patients with an LDL-C/HDL-C ratio less than 40% compared with patients with normal cholesterol levels.

2.2. Participants in the Study

In this study, we recruited 462 patients with dyslipidemia, mainly diagnosed by the presence of elevated LDL cholesterol levels (≥ 130 mg/dL or ≥ 240 mg/dL) in the first 6 months of the study. Patients with hypertriglyceridemia were randomly assigned to receive Crestor (Crestor 1,0,0,0,0) or a placebo tablet (Crestor 1,1,1,1).

The inclusion criteria were: 1) patients with a baseline LDL level of ≥ 130 mg/dL or ≥ 240 mg/dL and a baseline LDL-C/HDL-C ratio less than 40%, and 2) a baseline LDL level of ≥ 80 mg/dL or ≥ 240 mg/dL. The exclusion criteria were: 1) patients with a baseline LDL level of ≥ 130 mg/dL or ≥ 240 mg/dL and a baseline LDL-C/HDL-C ratio less than 40%, and 2) a baseline LDL level of less than 80 mg/dL or a baseline LDL-C/HDL-C ratio less than 40%, respectively.

Crestor 50 mg Tablet is a prescription medication used to treat high-fat, fast-acting cholesterol levels. It belongs to a class of drugs known as statins, which work by reducing the amount of cholesterol produced by your body.

Crestor works by inhibiting the production of cholesterol in the liver, thereby reducing the amount of cholesterol that your body lacks. This can help to lower your cholesterol levels, improve your blood pressure, and even help prevent heart disease. Crestor is typically taken daily for up to 6 weeks, and its effects can last up to 3 months. It’s important to note that Crestor does not work immediately and should not be taken for a long-term condition. Its effects may wear off after a few weeks, and it’s important to continue taking it as directed by your doctor. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. If it’s almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to the regular dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to catch up.
